Field and Retail Specialist
JOB DESCRIPTION
Overview: The Field and Retail Specialist plays a dual role within the company, providing exceptional service both in the field and at the retail store. This position requires a versatile individual who is knowledgeable about pool maintenance and products, capable of delivering hands-on service to customers while also engaging with them in a retail environment. We will train the right candidate!
Key Responsibilities:
- Field Responsibilities:
- Work with service techs as needed opening and closing pools, in addition to installing and servicing pool equipment, including pumps, filters, and heaters.
- Help the construction crew in the field as needed.
- Assist with deliveries.
- Respond promptly to service calls and address customer concerns in a professional manner.
- Retail Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting pool products and supplies, offering expert advice and recommendations. Educate customers on proper pool maintenance and chemical balancing.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing retail environment, ensuring shelves are stocked and displays are updated.
- Process sales transactions and manage inventory levels in the store.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues effectively.
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, trends, and new technologies in the pool industry.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in retail is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for field service duties.
- Basic knowledge of pool equipment and chemistry is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Comfortable working in and around water.
