Covid-19 Update
To our loyal customers,
While everyone at The Pool Source is optimistic about the implications of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) we are diligently evaluating the situation on a day by day basis and prioritizing, above all else, the safety and health of our employees, their families, and our customers. We are taking the necessary precautions to ensure safety and minimalize change to business operations.
The Pool Source will follow normal hours of operation: Monday-Saturday 9:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. and Wednesday’s 9:00 A.M. – 7:00 P.M. To abide by state regulations, we will not allow more than ten (10) persons in our showroom at one time. Our employees will monitor store capacity and properly instruct customers when they may enter the building – employees may ask arriving customers to wait outside the building while the store is at full capacity. In addition, we will have an outdoor storage container available for customers to drop off water samples for testing. Once samples are analyzed, we will contact customers via phone or email with their results. We are also implementing new services such as chemical delivery and in-store pick-up (see below).
We will continue providing service for spas, pools, and saunas. Our service members will practice social distancing while at residential locations. It is critical to maintain proper water chemistry for both pools and spas; per the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), COVID-19 cannot survive in properly treated bodies of water.[1] Untreated water can house bacteria such as pseudomonas, cryptosporidium, e. coli, etc.) The World Health Organization (WHO) states that controlling water quality is necessary to prevent the transmission of infectious diseases.[2]
The uncertainty of COVID-19 may change state rules and regulations; for any updates on company policies you may reach us via phone: (401)-461-8700 or submit your questions through our online form.
Thank you for your continued trust and support.
The Pool Source
